Hey everybody!  Well, I have an announcement to make. Since everybody is switching to myspace, I've decided to start going there as well. So, now I have a blog site there which I will probably be using more than xanga. Here is the link-http://www.myspace.com/gladiator32783

I will be on here still for awhile, but sometime in the future I wont be on xanga anymore, but then again, I wasnt on it much anyways. You can read about my experiece during Disciple Now 2006 that we had this past weekend for the Youth group I help lead on the myspace site. I hope all of you are doing good. Pax!

Yo!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am now offically on CHRISTMAS VACATION. Or as our friends on the other side of the pond like to say (England) Im on holiday. I prefer Christmas vacation though. Anyhoo (yes, this is my patent word that must be used atleast once per post) . For those of you who will be reading this via email first, take a trip to my site and you will see in all its glory THE COUNTDOWN down down down.... Yes my friends, the official countdown has begun until the day I graduate from College. May The Sixth during the Year of our Lord Jesus Christ Two Thousand and Six. ONE SEMESTER eh hem.. one semester to go until Im outta there. Its been real. Its been fun. And yeah, at times it was real fun.  And with all the papers Ive had to write and all the papers Im sure Ill be writing this next semester, I could probably easily write a book or two, or three. Actually, Im thinking about writing a book or two. Youll find out what they are if they ever make it.  Anyhoo (YES thats twice now.)  Let's see, if incase this is my last post before I leave for NC I would just like to say Merry Christmas to all my friends and family.  As for Cory and I, Festivus for the rest of us.  I should be back before the new year, but incase it snows and we are stuck up there for a little bit, Happy New Year. Speaking of new year's, Here are my New Year's Resolutions: To not have any New Year's Resolutions.  Alright!! So far, so good! I may actually keep mine this coming year!! Any...ways (ha, fooled ya!!! Yes, I know, Im a nerd) until next time, remember that saying everyone is special is just another way of saying that we are all the same.

Hey peeps.

Your probably wondering why I am writing at 5 in the morning. Well my comrades and comradettes (is there such a word? um, well, there is now), I am trying to break the ol' writer's block. As I speak (well, write actually) I am tackling a term paper. I'm the kind of person that can't just dive into a paper and type away. I have to get in the mindset to do it.  Sort of like a football player gets his head and mind focused on the game. I have to have a "pre-game" warm up I guess you could say.  Yes, you can laugh if you wish, one of the youth in my youth group already has. Strong coffee from Quick Trip (my alternative when Starbucks isn't open. They really need a 24 hour one near where I live) helps get me into "Term Paper" mode. Ah yes, I can feel it kicking in right now. My second wind has come.  Well, time to finish this bad mama jama (bad because it rocks or bad because it makes no sense whatsoever I will soon find out) and get my schoolin on. Take it easy everybody. It's Haunakwanzmas time!!!!!!!

This is pretty cool. Kind of wierd seeing as my sn is Gladiator32783, which I got from the very character I'm supposedly most like. I see myself as more of a Batman though, but then again, Superman wasn't even in the quiz, and we all know that he is the most awesome Superhero ever. Period. Well, in comicbooks anyway. Jesus is the real most awesome superhero ever. If it seems like Im rambling, its because Ive been up all night trying to figure out how to make this site look cool.  Well, time to sleep.
You scored as Maximus. After his family was murdered by the evil emperor Commodus, the great Roman general Maximus went into hiding to avoid Commodus's assassins. He became a gladiator, hoping to dominate the colosseum in order to one day get the chance of killing Commodus. Maximus is valiant, courageous, and dedicated. He wants nothing more than the chance to avenge his family, but his temper often gets the better of him.

Here are some words of wisdom. Never let your closest friends get away from you.  I'm not talking about your friends you run into everyday at school or work and thats it. Im talking about the ones you share moments in life with, the ones that you would take a bullet for. Whether you have had great or sad times, or times when you are at odds with one another , these are the friends you never need to let go off.  These are the great friends you grow up with and should be the friends that you stick around with the rest of your life, otherwise, these friendships will be reduced to just running into one another at Walmart sometimes and all you say is "hey! hows it going?" and "what are you doing now?" After these things are said, both of you make small talk and usually end the conversation by saying "we need to get together sometime" or in the case of a group of friends "Let's have a big reunion party or something sometime!" only to walk away knowing you will probably never get together. And on the ride home, you have either forgotten about what happened already or you begin to remember what all you and your friend or friends did back in the day.  Its been five years and it's amazing how many friends I have let get away from me.  Thank God I have managed to keep a few great friends, basically brothers and sisters.  Always keep these friends, because 1) they are the ones that help get you through life and 2) You will help them get through life as well.  Sure, we will always make new friends in life, some coming and going, others joining the list of friends who stick with you for life, but its always the friends you have grown up with and you have been through everything with that will help you the most and that will be the closest to your heart.
